TL;DR

A debenture is a long-term agreement where a fan or business pays a large sum upfront in return for the right to a seat, or to buy one, for a fixed number of years.

What does “Debenture” mean?

Debentures are more common in rugby, tennis and cricket, but some football clubs have used them to raise money for stadium projects. Some can be resold or transferred, and some are repaid at the end of the term.

How does it relate to football membership?

A debenture is the most committed form of membership. Holders still expect member-style benefits, communications and account management throughout the term, even though the payment is made once.

How Limio helps

Limio is built for recurring and long-term products, so clubs can manage debenture holders' annual add-ons, renewals of associated seat packages and benefits in the same place as other members.
